Privacy Policy
Last updated August 13, 2026
This is a plain-language draft, not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney. It accurately reflects the actual data QuoteRamp collects and where it goes today. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer — have one review it before this handles real customers' personal information at scale.
Who this applies to
This policy covers two kinds of people: Contractors who create a QuoteRamp account, and Customers who fill out a Contractor's public quote page without ever creating an account of their own.
What we collect
If you're a Contractor: the business name, email, and password you sign up with; your trade type and the price bands/questions you configure; and, if you choose to add one, a Discord webhook URL.
If you're a Customer filling out a quote page: your name, email, phone number (if you provide it), and your answers to that contractor's pricing questions. This is collected on behalf of the Contractor whose page you used — see Terms of Service for how that relationship works.
We don't collect more than this. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no data broker sales.
How it's used
- To run your account and show you your own leads.
- A Customer's quote-form answers are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the price estimate shown back to them. Anthropic processes that request but QuoteRamp does not use it to train any model.
- A copy of each lead is emailed to the Contractor (via Resend) and, if configured, posted to their Discord.
- Billing is handled entirely by Stripe — QuoteRamp never sees or stores your card number.
Where it's stored
All account and lead data lives in a Supabase-hosted Postgres database. Access is restricted by row-level security so a Contractor can only ever see their own leads — never another Contractor's.
Who it's shared with
The only third parties QuoteRamp sends data to, and only what's needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — database and account login
- Anthropic — generates the price estimate from quote-form answers
- Stripe — subscription billing for Contractors
- Resend — delivers lead-notification emails
- Discord — only if a Contractor adds their own webhook URL
We never sell personal data to anyone, for any reason.
Cookies
QuoteRamp uses one essential cookie to keep Contractors logged in. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Data retention & deletion
Contractor accounts and their leads are kept as long as the account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us through the details on your account — this isn't yet a self-serve button in the product, but any request will be honored.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data QuoteRamp holds about you. Customers should direct requests about their own quote-form data to the Contractor whose page they used, since the Contractor controls that relationship; QuoteRamp will assist the Contractor in fulfilling it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
